cam 1 and cam 2 arrows pointing to green light indicating power on.

  2. Turn on the microphone/speaker by pressing the power button; blue lights around the circular speaker will indicate power on.
  3. Open the Collaborate link and click “join session”.
  4. Expand the Collaborate panel by clicking on the purple arrows in the bottom right corner, select the settings option and click on “Set up your camera and microphone”. Video/Audio set up screens may be prompted automatically when you join the session.
  5. Select the microphone and camera that has “USB” in the title.

  6. Collaborate will recognize your camera, microphone, and speaker while you are in the session.  These steps may have to be repeated the next you use Collaborate if other microphones/cameras are plugged into the computer.

Need help?

It is a good idea to arrive to class early to get the equipment setup.  If you have issues with the camera/remote/microphone/speaker, please submit a help ticket to IT or contact the AV department.
