Providing Timing Accommodations and Extensions in Moodle

If you have a student enrolled in your course with an accommodation dealing with quiz time (ex: time & a half), Moodle allows you to adjust the quiz settings for individual users.

1. Click on the activity (quiz, assignment, forum etc.)
2. Click on the More tab and select “Overrides”.
3. Click on “Add User Override”.
4. Select the student/students in need of the timing accommodation.
5. Set the proper time allotted, date extension, or additional attempts.
6. Click “Save”
