Restrict Access

Restrict Access to Topic by Grade

If you have content within your course you do not want students to view until they have passed specific assignments, Moodle allows instructors to add restrictions to topics using the “Restrict Access” tool.  Restrict Access is also available for most Moodle activities and resources and can be restricted using other options including specific dates, user profile settings, and a release code (do not recommend as it involves PLD rules).

Step 1

Navigate to the Moodle course and toggle the Edit Mode button in the upper right corner.
