Emojis Within Announcements

If you are cutting and pasting messages from email or Word for Moodle Announcements or Quickmail and they include emojis, you will have a problem.   Our current Moodle database does not support the new “behind the scenes coding” for them and the messages will not work. ☹

We are scheduling an update on our database in December (as it may take up to 36 hours).  In the meantime, you can still use the traditional emojis that are available using the drop-down in the text toolbar. 😊
